New Movies Coming to Theatres in October 2024

Fall movie season is here! We'll get a lot of serious award season movies soon, but October is always its own unique window of time at the theater. This year is no exception, as we finally have the debut of JOKER: FOLIE À DEUX, and Tom Hardy's third outing as a toothy split personality in VENOM: THE LAST DANCE. We've also got new anime, big horror sequels, and CONCLAVE, the most compelling drama you're likely to see about choosing a new Pope.

Here are the new movies to see in theaters in October 2024.

Joaquin Phoenix stars once again in his Oscar-winning dual role as Arthur Fleck/Joker, opposite Oscar winner Lady Gaga. JOKER: FOLIE À DEUX finds Arthur Fleck institutionalized at Arkham awaiting trial for his crimes as Joker. While struggling with his dual identity, Arthur not only stumbles upon true love, but also finds the music that's always been inside him. The film also stars Oscar nominees Brendan Gleeson and Catherine Keener, alongside Zazie Beetz, reprising her role from JOKER.

Popular, outgoing Fujino is celebrated by her classmates for her funny comics in the class newspaper. Research uncovered secrets here that link spirits, aliens, and cryptids known as “skinwalkers,” but the true nature of this connection has yet to be discovered. This special film event brings ghost hunting and comedy together on the big screen and the truth about the paranormal to light. Mount Wilson is a perfect storm of the strange, where Sam, Colby and Nate risk everything to encounter unpredictable and dangerous anomalies in the hopes of finding the truth.
